Science of Peace Lab enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to its unique structure, it is no longer an a – la- carte enrichment program. Spaces are intentionally limited and the program is designed to foster your peacemaker’s vision.
Science of Peace Lab will utilize various community spaces and community members, encouraging individuals, at times, to work beyond their comfort zones. All waivers must be signed before the start of the session. If a particular waiver is not signed, guardians are responsible for alternative setting, transportation, and supervision during the time of the activity, and students may not participate. A brief itinerary is listed here to provide you with details and responsibilities of support in the SoPL program outside of on-site drop off and pick up.
By signing all waivers, you agree to provide transportation to specific alternative sites of opportunity (noted in the itinerary) within the drop-off window and agree to the experiences offered within the location. You also agree to understanding that our group will be in public, connecting with those in the public sector, and capable of walking/ moving independently up to four miles in the day.

Students must bring a daily, packable snack/ sustenance during the first week of the course and we will often be off-site during presumed breaks. Students may bring an optional snack during the second week of the course. Part of the course design in Week 2 includes student groups making a snack for their cohort. Students must bring a cold lunch daily. No lunch will be provided. An optional and highly encouraged part of the course includes a final day of potluck-style lunch, in which a sign-up list will be created.
